If you’ve lived in the North Penn area for more than a few years, you’ll agree that there’s been significant expansion in the region, as population and industry have stretched from Philadelphia into Montgomery and Bucks counties.

The region is enjoying the benefits of a growing population and the economic base that goes along with it. But it is also suffering the problems every community faces when presented with the demands rapid growth places on its infrastructure. Family farms, once isolated for generations, are now surrounded by residential and commercial developments. Traffic congestion caused by this expansion has stretched the inadequate capacity of existing local, mostly rural roads.
