Project Advisory Committee Meeting 1
This project's Project Advisory Committee (PAC) is comprised of local officials and heads of regional public interest groups. Periodic PAC meetings are valuable for informing PAC members on the project's status; listening to their concerns, and by extension, the concerns of their constituents;, and giving them an opportunity to have a voice in the project’s development. The goal of the meetings is to have the PAC members and PENNDOT’s project team work together to develop the best possible improvement project. The first PAC meeting, which was held October 16, 2001, introduced PAC members to the project and the project team.
Public Meeting 1
The first Public Meeting was held Thursday, October 25, 2001 at the Pennfield Middle School. This open-house introduced the project to local residents and business owners, and gave them an opportunity to voice their opinions and ask questions about the project.
Attendees were free to question PENNDOT’s project team members as they moved at their own pace through display stations that featured photographs, graphics and maps covering the following project areas:
- Project Location
- "Where do you live?" map
