The project included the rebuilding and realignment of approximately 1.5 miles of Wambold Road From Route 63 to Allentown Road in Franconia Township. The project also included the realignment of Route 63 for approximately 0.8 miles between Old Forty Foot Road and Mainland Road in Towamencin and Lower Salford Townships, plus seven signalized intersections and four structures. Construction on the $27 million project was completed in 2012.
